social cohesion and survival

Dorcas believes that if a nation -- indeed, the whole human family -- is to survive, national identity must be respected and citizenship should be granted only to indigenous peoples who have an historical stake in maintaining social and cultural cohesion.

"The trouble with the British and their previous empire," says Dorcas, "is that like the Romans they violated not only other nations’ social cohesion but also their own by giving away citizenship to people in foreign lands too freely. In doing so, they inadvertently caused the mother country first to be swamped and finally to be sunk by voracious immigrants."

"Back in Roman times, like now, there were many who wanted to crack down on immigrants and remove all foreign cultural influences from society -- and several attempts at this were made," says Dorcas, "but by the time people realize that they are losing their identity, culture and religion -- and desperately try to do something about it -- it is always too late."

“Social cohesion is absolutely necessary for survival at any level.”
